The Environmental Education Program of La Fundación R. Payán, Ambiente y Salud, A.C. has as its objective to contribute to the public policy presented by the Jalisco Secretary of Environment and Sustainable Development (SEMADES), which |

| encourages the residents of the state in the education of appropriate waste management according to Regulation NAE-SEMADES-007/2008. |

Regulation NAE-SEMADES-007/2008 is obligatory in the state of Jalisco and establishes the criteria and technical specifications covering the separation, classification, selective collection, and valuation of residues in the state of Jalisco. |

Environmental Education Program |
|
|
Creation of storage centers for recyclable materials, administrated by the residents of the municipalities of the state. These storage centers will promote the separation of inorganic recyclable wastes, the treatment of organic residues through composting, and the final disposition of the residues in sanitary landfills. |

Presentation of the Children’s Program “Tino Mal Tino©” which encourages children to care for the environment through the separation of residues. |

In the town of Atoyac, Jalisco a storage center for recyclable materials was developed with the participation of the residents of the community ( May, 2009 ). |

Our objective is to carry out the Environmental Education Program in the state municipalities, such as in the schools, and then later in other states, for which we cordially invite them to participate in the program through its sponsorship. |
